How do you download Myhouse.wad on switch?

I’m out off town this summer and I’m kinda board. The only electronics I brought with me is my switch and my Chromebook.

I miss my PC so much.

You don't. myhouse.wad is specifically designed for GZDoom.

Chromebook is a GNU/Linux machine, and GZDoom has GNU/Linux downloads, ya dig where i'm going to?

So that's a viable option if your Chromebook is decent enough.

You can also try doing it on the Switch by... jailbreaking!

Although I'm gonna bet that yours is patched, so no way that'll work. (mine also is, I tried doing it once)

GZDoom is also available on Flathub which can be set up on (some) Chromebooks, so that may be worth a try. (Note, last I tried the GZDoom Flatpak was pretty restrictive with its permissions of where it's allowed to read, so to load mods you may have to place them in a certain directory, or use Flatseal to give it permission to read elsewhere.)

there is an app on the google play store that includes the freedoom wads and its named "freedoom", it uses an outdated version of GZDoom, i'd say 1.9.1 but i don't know the actual version, hell i don't even know if myhouse.wad will run on it, though there's a paid alternative named delta touch, which includes the most recent versions of the source ports available in it, i think its somewhere in the $2.00-$3.70 range, probably $3.

I always asked myself:

Just wanna know if creating a source port and selling it is okay. I guess it is kinda legal, when you have to own the game, right?

Yes, the GPL license that most source ports are licensed under explicitly allows commercialization of the software. The Doom IWADs, on the other hand, are not free, so that's where Freedoom comes in.

The version of GZDoom that the Freedoom Android app uses is several years too old to run MyHouse.

If there's a version of GZDoom that will run on the Switch, that's certainly possible, but I'm genuinely not sure if there is or not.

It certainly isn't possible in any official manner, for obvious reasons.
