It appears that Sonic Mayhem announced the release of the Quake II vinyl soundtrack, and this made me remember that 99% of the songs are preserved (if you include Jer Sepult's Climb and Bill Brown's 'Ntro Score.) The one percent that is missing is the other half of the cinematic intro score known as "Quake II Theme Song" by Rob Zombie. You can listen to an audio rip here: It's unfortunate how this song (or score) didn't make it in hands of video game music preservation. I was hoping for a music album release with the 100% complete soundtrack and this time it didn't happen. What do you guys think of this?

Hello, Doom fans! it's been a while since I have been inactive on Doomworld. Gman has found a trailer from the initial development of Doom 2016 dated back in 2012 as well showing unseen in-game footage and elements of the original "Hell on Earth" Doom 4 project. What are your thoughts about it? This is another material that will be archived. UPDATE: There is more early DOOM 2016 video / interface and design concepts on his twitter account. You can check them out. This dude is doing wonders to the Doom community https://twitter.com/VideoGameArch

Mick Gordon unlikely to work on another Doom game after Eternal’s OST release

Most likely he got a contract from Stratton's lawyers to reinstate the Reddit post and he went dark as part of the dollar deal. -
This is outrageous and offensive to the Doom fellas.

Noclip uploaded new raw footage of Doom 4 and Doom 2016's development!
IrOn7HuB posted a topic in Doom 2016
Noclip uploaded a new video today featuring 'raw' clips that they managed to archive from their documentary with id released 6 years ago. The video showcases an unedited early short prototype footage of the unreleased "Doom 4", its prototyped synced-melee system, and combat tests/tech demos set during Doom 2016's production. There is a lot of cancelled Doom 4 content that still remain unseen. I am still finding material related to this Doom game we never got. Stay tuned for new discoveries! -

Interesting fact: you can find the escape pod model from the concept I uploaded above in the first single-player level of DOOM (2016) More concept art uploads: Doom 4 Character Study. In this topic, I am posting art discoveries from the cancelled/unreleased DOOM game project so far. These are all the lost material I managed to find on the web as well archiving such content in order to preserve DOOM Art history and documenting DOOM 4's development and ideas hoping for a build of the project to release sometime in the future so we can explore the lost Doom game at its core. Enjoy!

I personally believe Doom has a concept of travelling between dimensions (That's what Samuel Hayden once mentioned), and the known universes we have been through are the Classic Doom universe and the Doom 3 universe, while hell is its own universe that connects both timelines. For example, Doom 3 comes after Doom 64 chronologically speaking in a dimensional standpoint. Doom (2016) would have taken place in Doom 3's universe years after or a similar one.
