Sometimes, there are birthdays that just aren't very significant.
Sure, while Doom is now of legal age of consent in several states and a handful of countries,
"17" just doesn't have that ring to it; Doom is still not an adult, cannot buy alcohol,
and can't rent a car without paying an extra daily fee.
Do you think you'll be around for Doom's 18th, 21st, or 25th birthday? Do you think we'll
be around? If its popularity has lasted this long, I think there's very little doubt that someone
will still be playing it far into the future. Whether any of us will have stuck around to see it
is another thing.
Nonetheless, we still want to wish Doom a happy 17th birthday, and we hope you enjoy this edition of
the Cacowards as much as you did the previous sixteen.
