I was planning on making my own vision of doom2.wad and made it only this
far - the concept was short levels where most of the enemies wake up at
the same time paired with slightly messy progressions so that you'd have
to fight the enemies and yet not be trapped in "arenas" as such. Was rather
inspired by Sunlust, but this is the "author who can barely play Doom"'s
variation on that particular masterpiece. No, I don't know how they make
levels out of those weird floating neon rails.
I still don't know if this shading style actually suits anyone in the world
but I like it and it looks dramatic. Musta become almost allergic to just
seeing unlit walls at this point - adding gradients turns out to be better
detail than, you know, detail.
map 23 is an unofficial inclusion - don't ask me about it.
Anything strange you saw came as a direct result of skin contact with
the spores of alien toadstools.
ALT.WAD still owns and Scythe is still dull
