Apart from my anti-virus software, Graphic Tablet Settings, Time and MSN Messenger; I never even use the Icon tray. And if I want anything I'll have it running and Use Alt-Tab or WindowKey-Tab to switch programs.

Okay, That's made all problems End for me. I owe you one!

I already knew about the source code, I mean, If i knew what to do to it i would have done it a long time ago. Besides, I'm too lazy. ^_^ But thanks anyways.

Or you can do what I did, Learn without tutorials by looking at other maps and messing around myself. Nothing better than a hands-on approach!

Heh, for the ironicality, i'm posting from my Wii... 'Cause my laptop's borked. Also, i don't see FPS Games being good with the WiiMote, but that's down to opinion.

Heres how to add textures with XWE in 4 Steps: Step 1: Click on Entry --> Load (Raw Data) Step 2: Locate the image you want to add as a texture, then click Open. Step 3: Right mouse click on your new image, and then click on both Add to patch names, and add to textures. This should add two more "Lumps" to the wad, Called 'PNAMES' And 'TEXTURE.' Step 4: Close XWE, Load up domm Builder, and enjoy the novelty of custom textures. Hope I helped. :)

If I knew how, I would've done that a long time ago.

Glad to be of help. :)

Heh, you think I didn't know that? I'm only making a suggestion, so don't be some ass about it.

Okay, So I've seen it's possible. Do you have to buy an adapter for the PC, And if so, where do you obtain this from?

After I have helped out in a couple of threads, I'd like to suggest something that's probably been sugsested a couple of billion times already, but I'm not sure. Add a texture importer that adds a texture Lump to the wad you're editing, and adds the required data to the PNAMES lump and the TEXTURE1 Lump. this way, you could have many people on Just doom builder, rather than crossing over between Doombuilder and XWE/Wintex. If you were to add this tool, I'd have it displayed at the top menu bar amongst the "File" "Edit" "Scripts" "Help" buttons etc, With a new option saying "Textures" and in the drop-down Saying "Add new Flat..." And "Add New Patch..." If you could get this to work, you could probably be able to create a midi importer. If you decide to take this idea up, Good luck With it Pascal!

Please Explain in more detail. Again, It'd help if you went into more detail in what you mean, But I'm suggesting you mean in 3D Mode after you click on a wall texture. If it's only displaying One texture, Just press the "Tab" key. Yes, this thread may help you. (Link.) 3D Mode lighting mode is simple to change, Just hit the "B" Key when in 3D Mode, everything will go fully bright, and won't affect what's displayed in-game. Well, Hope I've been of use to you, and that this may also help others. [Edit] I can't spell...

Okay, the quick words here are: "You Cannot add custom textures to a PWAD With Doom Builder." When you first start out a map and tell it the location of another wad with the added textures in, you're only pointing it to another location in which it reads the Textures. However, to physically add textures to your map you need to use an alternate progrm, I'd personally take the route of using XWE, But i have had oit butcher my map a few times in the past, when i wasn't 'in the know' of what I'm doing. Good Luck with whatever you make in the future. [Edit] I forgot to mention, you should always include a text file noting where you obtained the textures used, to save some random ass complaining. ;)
