A few screens of the recent Mushroom Kingdom Fusion release: -
I'm a big enthusiast of classic arcade and pinball machines. Lucky for me there are two decent barcades within a short driving distance from me. I'm also only about a 5 hour drive away from the Galloping Ghost, the world's largest public collection of arcade machines. Probably my favorite era for both arcade and pinball is the late 80s through early 90s. Next time I'm at the Ghost I need to do a full playthrough of Black Tiger. Also despite living in the dead center of America I haven't ate at a McDonald's since 2019. Its a streak I intend to keep going for as a long as possible.

Not counting food I last purchased a 28 inch monitor. Its only 2K resolution, but I was more concerned about making sure it had excellent refresh rate/low latency.

what are you working on? I wanna see your wads.

I'm putting a lot of ZScript stuff into my TC. That includes stuff like an inventory system that is a hybrid of Heretic's and Duke Nukem's. Also there are no "hitscan bullet" attacks to worry about: I'm also using 3D models for most of the static decorations. Stored in the OBJ format for minimum memory usage: Would you like some Sunny Delight or the Purple Stuff?: -

I got them at the Spriter's Resource textures section: https://www.textures-resource.com/pc_computer/marathoninfinity/ -

I've been adding 3D floors to my TC demo map. A lot of 3D floors: -

Some decent progress on my TC's demo map is being made: Shame static images can't show off the shader glow effects. -
[Community Project] MEDB Madness (Custom MBF21 monsters) Project closed. Version 1.0 released

Alright, I'm going to expand the deadline to the end of the year. Though once BillyBones sends me the complete version of his map I still plan to release the currently submitted 5 maps together as sort of a beta release. So the new deadline is December 31st, 2023. -

After some delays and taking time to build my own map for my MEDB Madness CP I'm finally ready to start building a demo map for my TC project. I'm using an unreleased map I built back in the 90s as a base for the stage. Though it will be heavily overhauled. For now I just converted it to UDMF format and booted it up just to see what would happen: As expected with no modification other than the conversion to UDMF it has deranged object placement and is missing most of its textures. But at least it loads with no issues :P -

Yeah, given only five maps are completed at this point I'm going to extend the deadline. I'll sort the details on Sunday but for now, yes, you will get more time to finish your map. -

Any preferences for the sky texture or music? -

I play tested it with Eternity. Had a lot of fun with this one. Glad to see you managed to work in the MEDB 1.2 assets. The only thing of note I'd suggest fixing is there are some misaligned textures in the Harkubus closet that crop off one of the skulls in the wall: -
Oh yeah, my Dad's 486 Compaq with 4 megs of RAM had to be booted up in a special mode that reduced the memory used by DOS just to run DOOM. It was mostly playable, but certainly not without stuttering moments, much less at a consistent from rate. Trying to run DOOM2 on that PC? Forget about it unless the detail level was turned down so low it made the SNES port look high-def. I didn't get to enjoy a truly smooth playing DOOM experience until my Dad upgraded the ram to 8 megs. I don't think DOOM would even load on a 286, but I never actually tried it. The minimum listed specs was a 386 with 4 megs of RAM.

These will do nicely for the TC project I'm working on.
