Bring Your Own Class version 1.5 has just been released. It most notably includes: - 5 new classes; - A true Character select menu (bound to 'h' by default); - Selective teleportation (while alive, spectate a living or dead player with 'F12' and hold the teleport key to teleport to that player); - Hats and other cosmetics; - A selfie mirror in order to easily set up your cosmetics (bound to 'N' by default); - Plenty of fixes and rebalancing of the already existing classes. On behalf of the entire BYOC team, it is a honor to receive a Cacoward for our mod that began as a little silly private mod in Pizza Tower Discord but ended up evolving into what you can currently play. This mod has been in development for at least 4 years and has seen many changes during that time. There were a number of classes that were removed, others who were reworked (Like Gammu which got her arsenal, gameplay and weapon sprites entirely redone to make her more enjoyable to play). We are still working on it in order to bring you new content and fixes. Expect new classes (Like Homer Simpson which was revealed by one of our members on Twitter), a true ingame class select screen with quick descriptions and other QoL additions. Cardboard Marty really hit the nail on the head with his article on what is really at its core "40 different gameplay mods in one package". Yeah, I need to do the list of all the people who helped for that project at least for MOG2 MOG1 happened 2 years earlier, so I'm not sure about the info for it are still easily accessible.

Welcome to Mountain of Grunch These are two community-made map packs where the players have to fight through the armies of the Grunch in order to kill him and save Christmas. The first map pack was for most contributors the first they made a map for Doom, so keep that in mind. For the second one we had more time and experience. I'll even add that Bring Your Own Class uses functions that are specific to Zandronum, so it won't work natively on GZDoom. Zandronum enables us to have server-side multiplayer (instead of GZDoom's that is still just Peer-to-peer) since it was made with multiplayer in mind first and foremost.
