  1. Since today is my 16th birthday, I thought I'd give everyone a nice and early christmas gift. No, this is not a map but a weapon replacement wad made with WhackEd4! This is Chaotic Arsenal! A weapon wad with a DeHackEd patch that replaces the signature weapons with more disgustingly overpowered versions. I've tested this with Crispy Doom and works gracefully. The patch was made in the Ultimate Doom 1.9 engine. So this should be 100% vanilla compatible. Oh yeah, and your ammo capacity is increased too, so now you can slaughter demons more! So, let's get to the weapons, shall we? Fists of Fury- Yeah, it's Shadow Warrior's Fists of Fury and all, but hey, but you can go "ATATATATATA" on the demons and that's cool. Armed Buzzsaw- A spinning sawblade that cuts enemies like knife through butter. With a higher fire rate than the original chainsaw, it splits Barons in half all quick. Micro Uzi- A truly superior replacement for the original peashooter, this thing fires much faster but still has the same damage as the pistol and it makes sounds of the AK47, don't ask how. It just works. Striker- A powerful shotgun that has a drum magazine and fires much faster. Can easily take out hordes of fodder whilst barely taking cover while doing so. Ultra Shotgun- 4 times better than it's cousin, the super shotgun and it's got 4 times the firepower. You don't even gotta reload, once again, don't ask. Just accept it, you'll never understand it's complex nature. AK47- A quick firing assault rifle and burns bullets very quickly, and remember how I said that the micro uzi sounds like a AK47? Yeah, it's cuz of this weapon. Double Rocket Launcher- Double the rockets, double the explosives, double the fun. With this non-stop, rocket-firing behemoth, using it against giant hordes of fodders will be super satisfying! Watch those giblets fly high! Super Plasmagun- An upgrade to the plasma rifle. This cannon fires a stream of quick red plasma projectiles. It has no recoil when you stop firing, so go cook some demon meat with this thing. BFG 10001- Basically, Skulltag's BFG 10000 but it fires BFG balls and it has tracers. This thing is surely amazing! So, what are you waiting for? Play some slaughtermaps and go wild!   2. Exactly how? Cuz I have every raygun sprite from A to E and also the flash sprite.
  3. So, I was making a map that would have custom stuff via WhackEd4. In this case, I'm testing out this custom pistol, which is a raygun that shoots plasma projectiles instead of hitscan. I was testing in the map and it looked good before I started shooting. Whenever I shot the raygun, it glitched out and changed into a shotgun sprite and sometimes the weapon would not fire when this happening and then goes away until I fire again with the raygun. Any solutions?
  4. Hey everyone, I've messed around with WhackEd4 and decided to make a custom monster that replaces the SS Nazi. His name is the Terminator, a Realm667 Doom monster that I don't see a lot of people talk about. Which is a shame, since I thought the creature looked cool. Vader and Amuscaria did a good job with it's design. So, I brought it into Doom via WhackEd4. I may include this cool demon in a future megawad, but I have little to no plans for the megawad.     Looking for sprites

    Hey y'all. I'm currently working on another map. But I wanna change the Zombieman's sprites that replace it's rifle with a pistol. If you find any good ones, could you tell me the sprite author so I can credit them? Thanks.

  8. Even though I've messed around with WhackEd4 a bit, my knowledge is still limited with it in what I can do and how to use it way better. Let's say I want a new custom enemy for a map that I would make and it would replace Commander Keen. The issue is that Keen has alot of frames that don't have actions and I would need more actions for the new enemy. Let's say the enemy would fly and fire projectiles, how would I be able to create this new enemy that replaces Keen? Or is this not possible with WhackEd4?
  9. Hello everyone! Since today is the 30th anniversary of Doom (At least now in my timezone), I've decided to try my best and recreate the experience and comic panels of the Doom comic book from 1996 by Steve Behling and Michael Stewart. I've tested this map with Crispy Doom and Zandronum, and used the regular Doom format with the Doom 2 iwad. This map replaces MAP01, you start with zero bullets, and can be either played the old-school vanilla way or the modded way. It also has some changes and some new enemy placements, so it's not 100% accurate to the comic. But I hope you're happy with how it turned out, just like how I was making this map.     Sorry for the late response. Tried it out, still crashed. If I can't make charging Hell Knights work, then that will be a shame. Since I would love to have knockoff 2016 Hell Knights in my future maps.

    So, I was experimenting and messing around with WhackEd4 for a little bit and the one I have a issue with was me making the Hell Knight have a charging rush attack rather than a claw swipe and fireball by replacing the BruisAttack action with SkullAttack. I made the WhackEd4 file with the Ultimate Doom engine and Doom 2 Iwad. I tested it again but with the Boom engine. I played with this WhackEd file with the PrBoom source port in both file engines and I got this crash with this pop-up. Any solutions or nah?

    Hello everyone! I'm quite new to Doomworld and kind of new to the mapmaking craft. I've been working on this called 'Shuttle Breach'. I've tested this map on Zandronum and I used the UDMF map format and used the Doom 2 Iwad for this. This map replaces MAP01 and can be played in anyway, so no freelook or jumping required. This wad also features two custom enemies and a custom weapon. Once you're done with the wad, feel free to give me criticism so you can help me make better Doom wads in the future. Edit: Forgot to mention, this also features custom props. Edit (again): Also forgot to mention the Plasma Gun has better sounds and changes the Refire animation. Just to increase the pacing.
