This is what i'm trying to do but I don't understand how to attach a sprite to it and make it placeable. I assumed it would just be a pick up item like ammo and health

I've seen gold coins used before but I can't for the life of me find any information about how to use them or where to find them in Ultimate Doom Builder. where do I find gold coins and how do I implement them?

I'm trying to make a little trading system and I've seen coins in a few doom builder RPG tutorials but I can't find coins in Ultimate Doom Builder. I also thought I saw the Nazi treasure from Wolfenstein at some point but haven't been able to find it again either. Where do i find coins and how do i implement them?

I've managed to add a custom monster to a wad but what do I do if I want to add a bunch of stuff? I downloaded 94 things from realm667 (perhaps I got a little carried away but what are you gonna do?). Is Slade the best thing to use? I don't really understand the order things need to be stacked in or how to keep track of it all. All the tutorials i've found just tell you how to add ONE thing, not how to add and manage a whole batch of new monsters, guns, textures, keys, items and decorations. I've also noticed in UDBs Game Configurations menu, in the Textures tab, it has an option to Import. Should I be using that?

This is why I can't do that. This is my staircase. it's supposed to be a spiral staircase that goes up several floors. You would take the stairs you see on the left, turn right and continue upward. The stairs on the right go down and intersect with an identical set of stairs as the ones on the left. So both sets of stairs have to have their teleporter on the same plane.

Is there some way to allow a player to clip through a wall from behind a linedef? that way the player's movement wouldn't be blocked

I've never even heard of Eternity. Would it be different in that engine?

I'm trying to build a seamless staircase with static portals in GZDoom but if I try to place one directly on a wall, I can't pass through it. It's like it's in visual only mode but it isn't. The only way I've found to fix this is to build it away from a wall so there's a gap behind it but leaving that gap is making my geometry really difficult to figure out. Is there a better way to do this?

I need to look more into what can be done with teleporters. i haven't really used them in my maps so far and i'm thinking what I have in mind will likely require scripting

Yes, it is for a specific map and what I want is a finite list of items so there are always the same number of items total and the same number of each individual item that are then randomly distributed throughout the map
