Yes, mention me as the creator of these BIGDOOR variants and everything is fine. I think that is the usual way in the DOOM scene. I am happy If someone find them useful.

Duke Nukem 3D style security cameras would be nice. No need to create animated textures as fake cameras and live pictures. GZDoom has a nice implementation of this for example.

Here is the up to date texture pack from me with all up to date BIGDOORs and some other textures. New are the BIGDOORs with 192 pixel wide tiles. The 320 wide BIGDOORs and the BIGDOORs with 256 wide tiles are reworked also here and there. MSM-Textures.zip

Edit: Deleted all textures, because i posted newer versions. A little update to all large BIGDOORs is coming that all large doors are in one line. The 384/576 and 512/768 BIGDOORS in all three colors are ready.

I can feel your pain :) On my 386 with 40 MHz DOOM was even in low graphics a pure pain. 486 with 66+ MHz was the real DOOM-blaster at these days. But we had those mighty Novell NI1000 and 2000 BNC network cards that gave us endless multiplayer fun never Seen before. Good times.... And we were nearly 30 years younger. -

Have you really actively played DOOM with 3 years or is it a typo and you mean 13 years :) . My childrens ages are actual from three to fifteen years and with three years they were not really able to play a videogame like it's meant to be played, even there was a big interest. It was/is more a random button pressing with lots of delay and a fight to handle these big controllers, keyboard or mouse with their tiny hands. -

DOOM Shareware on 386/486 MS-DOS computers as it was the newest and hottest you could play. Very good times... -
A screenshot of a tileable 384 / 576 pixel wide and 160 Pixel high BIGDOOR. The beginning has been made for these sizes.

Edit: Deleted all texture pack, because i posted newer version. Here is an updated version of my texture pack. All 512/768 wide BIGDOORS were updated and errors were fixed here and there. The 256, 320 and 384 pixel wide BIGDOORS were updated too and the lightning especially from the green doors is back.

The biggest doors are named for example BD2561ZL. Explained BD means BIGDOOR, 256 is the height, 1 means brown (2 Gray, 3 Green), Z are the 512/768 wide Doors and L stands for left tile (C is Center, R is right). To be honest, the reason why i inserted the DOOM2 texture names is simply said, i did not know it better :) Normaly all textures should be after the ZZZ textures from DOOM2. I will look tomorrow at the pwad again if i have forgotten something. I have shutdown my PC and i am going to bed.

Here is a WAD file with all textures (mainly BIGDOOR textures) i had posted here in this thread. Edit: Deleted texture pack, because i posted a newer one.
-
I will make a WAD when the three missing sizes are done. Tomorrow eventually, if nothing special happens.
-
Here are all newly edited higher BIGDOORS again. Edit: Deleted textures because i have uploaded later newer Versions.

That is in my mind too. I have noticed that the bigger the door, the more "monotonous" it becomes. The reason of that is that the original BIGDOOR was never designed to be in such sizes. So many details repeat. The smaller BIGDOORs i made have not this problem. But for now i want to finish first all possible sizes in all three colors.

Edit: Deleted textures, because i posted newer ones. The green higher BIGDOORs are coming... Here is the 256 pixel high version first. Hope i have not overseen something.
