Built executable was the one running, since the "installed" one was already uninstalled. Sorry, i don't know how exactly to share that information (build log or the output to stdout) Btw, i forget to mention that the OS is MX Linux 23 (Debian 12) and libsndfile version is 1.2.0-1.

It seems that the first map needs at least complevel 9 to play properly, when you press the button in the room, it suppose to lower the pillar to reveal the hell knight, lower a wall to reveal a caco and lower the pillars next to the stairs. Hope the author can clarify the correct complevel, since the txt file on advance engine only says UMAPINFO.

Ok, so i uninstalled woof and nugget-doom and build nugget from source, making sure i have libsndfile 1.1.0 or higher installed, but the problem still persist. I also installed dsda-doom to check if the problem was present there, but it was ok, so far is only hapenning nugget/woof.

I tested it with woof and the same problem happens. I also try it with GZDoom and it sounds fine there.

Solid starter for the episode. My only grip are the barons, they don't feel scary as they are "trapped" or "faithfully" defending the gate (lol), and they don't feel threatening if you take your eyes off them. -
Nugget fully supports mp3? I have been using the provisional wad with MP3 music from Emblem, and the music sounds with static on certain occasions. I thought it was part of the music until I checked the songs on SLADE and they don't really sound like that.

Great work! E2M3 and E2M9 are my favorite maps. E2M2 was kinda confusing and the pacing of the map feels different from the others. Some places appears black on the map. I agree with the others comments about E2M8. Since i almost found all secrets on the episode, the map was really easy but i can see how the mandatory infighting can be kinda wack if you pistol start, you did not preserve ammunition, find secrets or not a expert on the BFG. Love that the secrets are easy and fun to find, especially since you added a computer map in almost maps and this reaches another point that others comment too, that the secrets in the last maps seem afterthoughts. Overall, i have fun and eager to play the next release. -
Since each map has its own slot, you can actually play all of them together continuously if you load all 4 maps. Also, im sharing a little UMAPINFO patch for your work. kdmumap.zip

I haven't finished it yet, but the beginning is pretty rough lol, it reminds me of Underground Army on difficulty. I have a question, since the maps that you are releasing have a sequence, map01, map02 etc, is it part of your intention that they be played consecutively, or would that break the balance of the maps a lot? So far I have only been able to finish map 01 and 03 with pistol start UV.

From what I played I can say that it is an interesting work. Sadly i doubt i can complete it without going blind lol -
This example is from The Shores of Russia. The one with the red sky it's how it's supposed to look, the other is with the option on. I remember notice this with a few other ones, but i don't remember from what wads.

Oh, thanks for the info and visual explanation. I have another question, is the linear scrolling exempt from looking weird or does it depend on the sky? I used to keep ON stretch short skies, until I notice it can mess up some sky textures.

What Linear Sky Scrolling does? I cant notice the difference on the skies.

Love the vibe of the map. Kinda lack of medkits, but overall on the enjoyable side.
