Did some digging to try and figure out what was up with it. Sadly, I'm fairly new to DOOM's nuts and bolts and couldn't find anything related to the pointers mentioned when opening up toon2b.DEH in WhackEd4 (I'm probably missing something obvious or using the wrong editor). I tried out MAP03 a few times in v0.26.2 and found that the punch only causes a crash AFTER picking up the second (yellow) key - this behaviour is also found in MAP04 after picking up the second (blue) key, but weirdly, not in MAP27 after picking up the second (yellow) or third (blue) key?? I also noted that in both v0.25.6 and v0.26.2 the sound effect of the punch is not attached to the player, but (as far as I can tell) a "player deathmatch start" thing. As far as that individual UV-Max run of MAP03 goes, feel free to bin it since it does crash, and so the other runs in that post can be added. I tested about a third of the remaining demos (mainly the MAP04 and UV-Max runs) but saw no crashes. I think crashing on a punch is tied to whether the level has keys or not, and there are only three levels in the megawad which use keys (3, 4, and 27). For the hell of it, I did a new run and shaved off a minute in the process - tested it on both versions and I see no crashes on my end: MAP03 UV-Max in 1:52 tfd203-152.zip Video: https://youtu.be/yeEvX-pXH5I As for what to do with the DEH file for subsequent runs... I think it can be chalked up as a bug in the same way MAP30 has the very common all-ghosts glitch, and can still be worked around. AFAIK it only affects three maps and only when punching, so, at worst it might make a couple of Tyson runs impossible or annoying? However, if someone can fix up the DEH and it doesn't cause desync issues I'd be happy to just use that in subsequent runs. I'll defer to you on that one though, and will probably just avoid anything punchy on those three levels for the time being. Thanks!
