Best looking enemy?

just want some opinions on the best looking one.

personal favorite is the necromancer (arch vile)

I genuinely love the look of the Serpentipedes (the not-Imps) and the Trilobites (the not-Cacodemons). If I were to pick one, I suppose I'd go with the Trilobite.

This would be Mini-Gun Zombie for me.

And that is why I keep DoomWorld on "Table" format at all times.

On-Topic: So, best enemy sprite in FreeDOOM? I think I'm going to say the Trilobite, like @BeachThunder said.

Some of my favorites in Freedoom are the Serpentipedes (I think they look strangely cute), the Combat Slugs (they look so goofy, like something out of Pizza Tower) and the Necromancers (I fucking love their maniacal laugh, I just wish their sounds were a bit louder). The new Octaminators look pretty great too!

Overall though my favorite enemy is the Pain Bringers/Pain Lords. Their design is really weird, but in a good way - from the first moment I saw them I thought they look alien and evil. Their names are super badass, too :)

I really love the look of hatchlings and matribites. The sound hatchlings make is so cute.

My favorite one is the Necromancer, its design is super cool with the big eye, exposed brain and everything.

I also love the design of the Matribite (the Pain Elemental replacement), it's very unique even though its based on the Hatchlings (the non-Lost Souls).
Also, the Large Technospiders: they look like a snail riding a frog, cute but not very fitting for Freedoom. The Combat Slugs look goofy and cartoonish, but also fall in the same theme category as the Large Technospiders

These are my favorites:

1) Necromancer (by far!)

2) Flesh Worm

3) Trilobite

4) Assault Tripod

5) Combat Slug

6) New Matribite

Most of the rest (Serpentipede, nobles ...) is quite good too. I don't like the zombies that much (the shotgunner is ok though), and the big technospider could get a bit more polishing, it looks more like a tank. And I don't like the revenant (dark soldier?) at all, it's too difficult to spot in many situations.

Ive gotta say the Serpentipedes/Imps and Trilobites/Cacodemons are tied for my favorite. The Deadflares look cool too, WAY cooler than the normal Doom Lost Souls.

Oh yes. speaking of lost souls, i do miss the old pain elemental sprite, the floating deadflare cage is a bit lame IMO.

For me the Trilobite is the best looking one. It looks like some believable alien species, as is not anthropomorphized in any way.
