What do you call Doomguy?

Plenty of names have been said, what do you think?

I will be honest, I also use Doomguy, Doom Marine, and BJ Blazkowicz III.

Usually, I just call him DooMGuy.

But I know he's got that Blazkowicz lineage in him.

Well, I believe his real name is BJ Blazkowicz III, but he has multiple nicknames. I tend to alternate between them depending on what game I'm playing.

Also, I'm quite surprised to see someone call him "our hero" in the first ten votes.

I will put him JOE's name.

I usually refer to him as DoomGuy or Doom Marine in casual conversation. But when it comes to giving him an actual in-universe name i like Flynn Taggart the most, Cause it just feels like a good name for our marine and doesn't sound like something generic like "John Kane" from the Doom 3 novels.

Over on the Doom subreddit maybe, but here most people got into Doom long before 2016.

Anyway I go with Doomguy because it’s the second silliest sounding of the lot after Flynn Taggart, keeps things from being too self serious
