opinions on pineapple on pizza?

I don't know anything about hawaiian food :(

I'm from Canada and pineapple in pizza is a common topping here. They call pizza with ham and pineapple as "Hawaiian" even though it doesn't even exist in Hawaii.

It’s not as bad as most people make it out to be, there’s far worse out there, but it doesn’t do anything for me personally.

I love pineapple on pizza. If somebody doesn’t, they should just agree to disagree. Don’t go hating on people who like pineapple on pizza if you don’t.

I prefer pain elementals on pizza myself. The rocky texture gives nice contrast with the saucy and cheesy pizza material

Not my first choice, but I like it if it's there. C'mon, it's pizza. There's no such thing as bad pizza. As long as you don't get food poisoning, any pizza is good :)

In general I love pizza with big slices of vegetables, they give a lot of moisture

I fucking love it but it's gotta have pineapple, ham AND bacon for it to work.  It's got a really nice sweet savoury flavour.  Without bacon it's really lacking something, I haven't tried it without ham but that might feel like it's missing some heft.  This is usually the way it's made around here except for the odd place that fucks it up, or someone orders a custom pizza and fucks it up.

 I know. I mean... I just love big juicy slices on pizza. And the pineapple lies on the pizza in large pieces, like vegetables

I like it. If YOU don’t like it, leave it and leave everyone else who likes it. It’s pizza toppings, it’s not like pineapple on pizza lovers are as bad as furries or twitter users. It’s not that deep.

Also, pineapple is special. It’s the only fruit that you see in pizza. Leave it that way.

I tend to order a pineapple/jalapeño pizza at any pizza delivery place to see how they compare. Not always my go-to, but I do quite enjoy it. 

Being very antagonistic over it just seems to be a meme-like response than anything.
