Doom Music Composer Bobby Prince Battling Cancer

Maybe the healthcare stuff should be split into it's own thread. Personally I think it's great that Essel opened up about what she's been through medically and financially and hope the thought of her voicing her struggles bothering someone who it doesn't affect wouldn't dissuade her from opening up about them. I can also relate in a distant way since my mother has struggled with cancerous tumors in the past and relocating away from America, my homeland, was the only way we could realistically afford the right to life long-term. This was a direct consequence of the US healthcare system. It's not directly related to Bobby's condition specifically, which I think it's fair to say we all hope improves, but cancer and healthcare are irrefutably very directly linked as subjects, and everyone's health will deteriorate at some point or another whether or not they'd like to admit it - so I think this all warrants discussion personally.

But the ball isn't in my court. If splitting is the most civil outcome that's fine, but people who are affected by very similar issues should not feel hesitant to mention them and voice their pains/grievances/health issues if they feel so inclined.

Every time I see that there's been a new post in this thread, I get really worried that it's some announcement that Bobby Prince died or his condition is worsening, and find myself relieved to see that's not the case. Either way, maybe it would be better if this thread were left alone until there's news about his condition. And yes, I suppose that makes me a hypocrite, as I'm also posting in this thread.
