Doom Millennium has an update saying that Map16 and Map21 have been completed, bringing the PC that much closer to completion. There are 2 new screenshots to go along with this news as well.

There's a nice update over on the COMPET-N where the big news is that Vincent Catalaa has managed to do not one but two Doom 2 nightmare runs, making him the second person to ever do it. Among the other feats are Episode 1 UV improved by an entire 30 seconds (?!?!) and a new Map03 rocket jump. Don't forget the ongoing contest! Overall, a great time for speedrunning.

Aardappel's Doom Page has announced the release of the "QBoard Doom 2 SP WAD" created by Biff Debris, Lunaran, and Aardappel. This 3-level WAD was created by 3 Quake mappers as a "retro" mapping project to see how they would fare with linedefs and vertices as opposed to brushes and polygons.
