It was created back in 2018 to work together on Bloodspeed. Originally conceived to store all my finished maps and materials for them. I started to realize this idea only a week ago. Thought it might give me some motivation to complete projects I've already started and post updates from time to time. Not all works have been published yet, but this will happen in the next month. See "The Vault" section.

Activity here is very rare. I'm not very talkative myself. It's hard to come up with something that would make you stay for a long time. It should also be noted that English is not my native language, so most of the articles are translated by online services, and ... may look strange ... probably.

Hello. I made a server for my Doom/Hideous Destructor fangame, Doom: Knee Deep in D20. A TTRPG that is now fully playable. I'm working on all of the flair and fun needed for an official big release. Hey!
I was wondering, what is the most populated Doom classic only server? Meaning a discord only for Zdoom / Prboom ( all the other ports, you name it ) and not for 2016 Doom. I'm sure 2016 Doom is cool but I'd like a discord server focused on talking about megawads, projects and stuff like that, but that's active at the same time.
There's so many servers I don't know which one would best fit my description.

This is Comunidad Doomers Argentina, a Discord server based on the forum with the same name. This was initially made for Doom fans from Argentina, though we welcome people from every country.

We mostly talk about classic Doom and modding, and we usually play on Zandronum. Though we have channels to talk about videogames, share memes and discuss off-topic stuff too. Feel free to join!

A lot. Discord in general is in that direction. Mind that progressive is a very broad term, so it doesn't mean you'll necessary get along with everyone progressive. It's best to just randomly join different servers and seeing it for yourself whether you like them or not. It's not like you'll get immediately assaulted if you join a server where people have different views. Unless they already know you for something bad that is!

Well, y'know, I kinda really mean somewhere I'm not going to be beholden to rightwing or "centrist" chuds whinging about not being 'allowed' to use slurs in would-be polite conversation. It's a small ask, I would've thought, but you'd be surprised sometimes.

Formerly known as The Joy of Mapping, @Jimmy's Discord server, now known as The Entryway should be able to answer all your mapping needs!

A lot of the general discords listed do have specific mapping and modding areas depending on which engines (including Doom 64) you would like to work with. So depending what engines you want to target we can recommend some!

Figured I'd post a link to my server. You can join the server to keep tabs or get notified on future SLOTTER team projects. We are also an open community made up of enthusiastic DOOM mappers, so if you need help or just want to discuss DOOM or general gaming stuff, the server is pretty active.
